Dear CUKS Parents,
 
As the opening of a new school year approaches, we take great pride in welcoming you and your child to Chicago United Korean School. We would like to express our gratitude for your support and cooperation throughout the previous academic year. For those new to our school this year, we welcome you!  To help you and your student transition smoothly into the new academic year, we have compiled some essential information below.
 
1.Fall registration
Please note that we DO NOT accept any new Pre-K and Kindergarten as of today as the classes are full now. Other classes are still open to register. However, if you have not registered your child yet, I encourage you to complete your registration using the link registration form soon to reserve your child's spot. 
2. The first day of school will be on September 9 at 9:00 a.m. We will be meeting in a main sanctuary.
3. School Hours-Please find attached school schedule.
Please be reminded that school begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 12:30 p.m. Please drop off and pick up your child on time at the main sanctuary. There will be a late fee when your child is picked up after 12:40 p.m. 
4. School Supplies
Students will need to bring a pencil, an easer, a pair of scissors, and glue stick each week.
5. Snacks/Water bottles
  • Please do not send any nuts or products containing nuts to school due to the number of students with food allergies.
  • Please send a filled water bottle and snack to school each week. Lunch will not be provided.
6. School Calendar (Student Non Attendance Day)-Please find attached fall semester calendar.
  • 추수 감사절 휴교 Thanksgiving No School (11/25/2023)
  • 성탄절 휴교 Christmas No School (12/23/2023)
  • 새해 휴교 New Year’s Day No School (12/30/2023)
  • Easter No School (4/8/2024)
  • Last day of school (5/18/2024)

시카고연합한국학교의 학생들과 학부모님들을 환영합니다! 작년에도 적극적인 협조와 도움을 주신 학부모님들께 진심으로 감사의 말씀을 전합니다.
올해 새로 등록하신 가정들도 모두 환영합니다. 개학을 앞두고 학교에 대한 중요한 사항들을 모아 안내해드립니다.
 
1.가을학기 등록 
Pre-K와 Kindergarten반들은 현재 반 인원수가 다 차서 더이상 등록을 받지 않음을 알려드립니다. 
아직 다른 반들은 등록이 가능 하지만 자리가 얼마 남지 않았으므로 registration form를 누르시고 등록을 서둘러 주시기를 부탁드립니다. 
2.가을 학기 개학 첫날은 9월 9일 9시이며 본당에서 모입니다.
3.학교 시간- 첨부된 학교 시간표를 참조해주세요.
학교는 9시에 시작해서 12시 30분에 끝납니다. 자녀가 지각하지 않도록 지도해주시고 늦지 않고 12시 30분에 픽업해주시기를 부탁드립니다.
12시 40분이후에 픽업하실 경우 late fee를 내셔야 합니다.
4. 학용품
모든 학생은 매주 학교에 올때 연필, 지우개, 가위, 풀을 가지고 와야 합니다.
5. 간식
  • 알러지가 있는 학생이 있으므로 땅콩이나 견과류가 들어간 간식을 학교에 가져올 수 없습니다.
  • 점심이 제공되지 않으므로 꼭 간식과 물을 채운 물병을 가지고 학교에 옵니다.
